Goin BACK... and to the UK
Wooohoooo... my boss allowed me to have the Friday off to pack and go!.... Will be leaving for the UK this Sat. 11:55pm. Will be there till the 15th Feb, hopefully will be back in time for CNY eve reunion and celebration. Heard that it's freezing cold there at the moment abt 0C and started snowing over there yesterday. Have to get some winter clothing tomorrow or else I'll be freezing myself up over there, hahaha.
Basically would be based in Havant (pronounced "Heaven"). It is here:
The funny thing is when ppl ask where will I be and when I say Havant their eyes will juz go wide... hahaha... so I pronounced it as HA VANT (read it like the malay baku language.. hahahaha). Supposed to be there for training for a total of about 6 to 9 months but I think the duration would be cut really, really much shorter. Looking forward to experience winter but with my running nose I think I'll experience "banjir" in UK...
Anyway hope to catch up with you peeps when I'm back during the CNY. I really really hope I won't be putting on weight when I'm there... (i know some will say fat hopes)... =P.... Ciaos...

1st Appearance...
Still on medication today, and the nose started running around, thank God no heavy workload in office at the moment. Anyway was surfing around and came across this article, and it's my first appearance on a printed magazine! hahaha. Check this out... (1st, 2nd and 3rd pic on the bottom)
The article appeared in the ExpatKL magazine (not sure which date), but basically was involved in a band last year as a bassist... of all instruments! The band's name kinda funky, Johnny Coma and the Boneshakers (the rocking version) and Splitfire (the Acoustic rock version) fronted by the owner of the Rock and Roll Blues Cafe, Mark Ruffin. Played with them for a couple of months, in the cafe, in Geographer's Cafe, Jonker Walk's Music Festival 2006 and also the Riverside Music Fest. By the way, thanks for the burgers Mark!!... Check out the cafe for real good home made grilled burgers... it rocks!!
Had some good experiences playing with them (and I must say my bass playing improved some what... hahaha)... some nice rock and blues riffs. My friends had a laugh when I told them the band are part of the "Dinosaur Rockers Association of Melaka". But anyway in the end was tied up with work, some issues and with my pending move to Seremban had to leave the band.

It was fun while it lasted. Heard they got a new bassist and are preparing for loads of other gigs around Melaka.
Some did ask me whether it is right for a Christian musician to be involved in secular music. Quite a controversial topic, I do have some thoughts on it and might just post it one of these days...

First Post
Yups here I am setting up an online home. I guess this is one of the ways to keep relatives and friends updated since I'm moving away from Melaka. Why a blog? coz relatives are important, friends are important. Being sort of "alone" in Seremban, reminded me again the beauty of friendship, to care for and being cared for. (sounds corny yea? hahaha)... anyway anyone can leave their comments on the blog or juz simply email me... ;)
Was feeling feverish since last night, was tempted to get an MC and juz skip work, but well here am I in Seremban, on my notebook, thinking what to write on this blog... haha... nothing much to do since I started here... juz waiting for my training to start end of this month...
Anyway, watch out this space... more to come... (depending on the mood)... haha...
